Q. What forms of payment are accepted at ALDI stores?
A. We welcome cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, most debit cards, the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), Link cards, SNAP and contactless pay such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. At this time, we do not accept checks or the Women, Infants and Children program (WIC). WIC program federal guidelines stipulate that only name-brand formulas are included, and we offer only our exclusive premium-quality Little Journey brand at a lower cost parents want.
Q. Does ALDI allow for cash back on debit card purchases?
A. Yes, we offer cash back with qualifying cards at all of our locations.
Q. Do you allow Tax-Exempt purchases?
A. Yes, items purchased by a tax exempt organization for an appropriate tax exempt use by your organization may be purchased tax-exempt, providing you have a valid tax-exempt certificate at the time of purchase or on file with ALDI. State law may require ALDI to collect tax on all supplies and other items used by your organization. Items purchased for resale in the normal course of your business may be purchased tax-exempt, providing you have a valid resale certificate at the time of purchase or on file with ALDI, which lists the specific items you are purchasing for resale. State law may require ALDI to collect tax on all supplies and other items used by your business.
ALDI Gift Cards
Q. How can I purchase an ALDI gift card?
A. We’re excited to offer gift cards at all ALDI stores. Gift cards are available for any value in $5 increments, up to $100. To buy a gift card, please stop by your local ALDI store and a team member will be happy to help you out! At this time, we do not sell gift cards online.
Q. How can I check my ALDI gift card balance?
A. You can check the balance at aldi.us/giftcards or visit your local ALDI store and an associate will help you out.
Q. Are ALDI gift cards reloadable?
A. Yes. ALDI gift cards are reloadable. However, if the gift card has a $0.00 balance for over 90 days the card will be deactivated and will no longer be reloadable.
Q. How do I arrange a large order of ALDI gift cards on behalf of an organization or business?
A. Large orders can be arranged by mailing the following:
- Gift card order quantity, desired values and any restrictions such as alcohol
- Return shipping address and contact information
- Payment via check from business/organization account for total amount. Sorry, no personal checks are accepted.

Q. Are ALDI coupons ever issued, and if so, how do I get one?
A. From time to time, we may offer regional promotions and coupons surrounding an event, such as a store grand opening. Keep an eye out for our ads in newspapers, in your mailbox or in stores for special promotions near you.

Q. My coupon is expired, can I use it?
A. Our apologies, we do require that all coupons be used prior to their expiration.
Q. I found a coupon on a social media site for ALDI, can I use this in your stores?
A. Any digital coupon shared on social media is not a legitimate coupon. We do not offer online coupons. The coupons we do offer will always be physical: handed out by the store, or mailed directly to you. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Q. Do you accept manufacturer’s coupons?
A. The majority of our products are ALDI exclusive brands where customers save up to 50 percent* on more than 1,400 of the most commonly purchased grocery items with no coupons needed. ALDI does carry some brand name products; however, we negotiate the best possible prices with our suppliers, so we are unable to accept manufacturer’s coupons. *Based upon a price comparison of comparable products sold at leading national retail grocery stores.
