ALDI Pricing FAQs

ALDI Pricing

Q. Why do prices vary from store to store?
A. ALDI considers many factors when setting product prices, including production and operating costs, market conditions, local regulations, consumer demand and the competitive landscape. This may cause our prices to fluctuate from city to city, but rest assured we strive to offer the lowest prices in town.

Q. An item I purchased is now lower in price at the same store I purchased it at, how do I get a price adjustment?
A. Please take your receipt to the store from where you purchased the product and the store manager will make the adjustment.

Q. Do you offer price matching?
A. We do not match prices because we are generally able to negotiate the best prices for our customers. There may be times when you find a product for cheaper at a different store. However, at ALDI, we always maintain our significant competitive price advantage, with ALDI shoppers saving up to 50 percent compared to traditional grocers.

Q. Why are in-store prices lower than delivery prices?
A. At ALDI, regardless of whether our customers prefer to shop with us in-store or online, we work diligently to ensure we consistently offer the lowest possible prices. Instacart has a minimum of $10 for all deliveries (regardless of retailer), and delivery fees are determined by a variety of factors, such as delivery window and order size. Additionally, there may be a slight increase on certain items sold on Instacart to cover the cost of personal shopping from order to order, but rest assured that ALDI will continue to offer consistently lower prices than other retailers.
